Pastel Partner 2009 10.1 is the latest version of this comprehensive and useful accounting software aimed for businesses. The program is available for purchasing and evaluation from the developer’s website. As the size of the trial demo is quite big, after requesting it, they send it by post to your home. We can try it for a 30-day period or after entering 200 transactions. Licenses can be bought from one up to twenty computers. From the main window, we can access the tool bar icons and manage customer documents, supplier documents, entry data in the cash book, bank reconciliation, journal, point of sale, edit customer, edit supplier, edit inventory items, graphs and financial rates, business intelligence center and dashboard, pastel cash manager, explore, note facility, internet and help file. There are also a tasks list and to do list. We can print and/or send documents,invoices, orders, etc., via email from the user's interface.Pastel Partner has additional support coverage, called Pastel Cover, which we can contract in case we need it. It is a combined support and upgrades contract, which provides users with unlimited telephone and email support from Pastel experts, all upgrades, and updates released during the period of cover and a data fixing service. As the needs of our business grow, we can purchase more licenses, stand-alone modules, and add-ons. Please refer to the website for the full list of these extra features and a comparative table. There are training courses, which run periodically, or they can arrange for up to five employees to be instructed at our premises by one of their trainers. It runs under Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. |
